Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Menard County, Illinois. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
