You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake.
