Vertical milling machine operator — Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Grant County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 3+ years on the tools preferred. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
