Delivery truck driver — Russell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in Russell County, Kansas. The job is at a haulage company. Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules The role involves: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Six days a week, one day off.
