Fabricator-welder — Liverpool

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Liverpool, England. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
