Bricklayer — Jasper County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Jasper County, Iowa. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Part-time with flexible hours.
