Machine setter-operator — East Renfrewshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will work on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line Full-time, day shift.
