Bakery assistant — Breathitt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Breathitt County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy bakery. Day to day you will proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
