Elevator repair technician — Culberson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Culberson County, Texas. The job is in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Six days a week, one day off.
