Earthmoving equipment operator • Warren County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Warren County, Illinois. The job is on a quarry floor. The role involves: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Refuel the machine and record running hours Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems 3+ years on the tools preferred.
