Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a textile mill. You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills The role involves: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches 5+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
