D6/D8 dozer operator • Stephenson County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Stephenson County, Illinois. Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Day to day you will form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; refuel the machine and record running hours; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
