Urgent requirement: we are hiring a building site helper in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. The job is with a civil contractor. What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Your main tasks: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Part-time with flexible hours.
