Visual inspection operator wanted in St. Lawrence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in St. Lawrence County, New York. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Rotating shifts.
