Powder coating line operator • Bennett County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Bennett County, South Dakota. The job is in a busy paint shop. What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
