Canteen cook — Wilkinson County

Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in Wilkinson County, Georgia. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
