Tiling assistant — Alameda County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Alameda County, California. Requirements: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites On a typical shift you will set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas.
