Press machine operator — Malheur County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Malheur County, Oregon. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
