Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Lenawee County, Michigan. The job is in a busy paint shop. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens On a typical shift you will cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
