Brick and block layer — Nolan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Nolan County, Texas. You will be based on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
