Join our team: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Medina County, Texas. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Day-to-day duties: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Full-time, day shift.
