Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Talbot County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
