Plant operator (dozer) — Macon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Macon County, North Carolina. You will work at a land-clearing site. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) On a typical shift you will grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; refuel the machine and record running hours. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
