Single needle operator wanted in Abakaliki

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
