Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Columbia County, Arkansas. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Full-time with occasional weekends.
