Conventional mill operator — Audubon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Audubon County, Iowa. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
