VMC operator — Newton County

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Newton County, Indiana. You will work at an automotive components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
