Press setter operator — Prairie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in Prairie County, Montana. The job is at a busy press shop. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet 6+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
