Backhoe operator — Hughes County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Hughes County, South Dakota. You will be based on a housing development site. Day to day you will load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
