Brick mason — Jerauld County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Jerauld County, South Dakota. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
