Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Your main tasks: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
