Rigger — Douglas County

Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Douglas County, Illinois. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
