Tracked excavator operator — Roane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Roane County, West Virginia. You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs The role involves: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $17 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
