Pastry baker — Polk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Polk County, Missouri. You will work in a bread factory. The role involves: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Score the top of loaves before baking • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Part-time with flexible hours.
