Ladle pourer — Perry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Perry County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
