Power press operator — Marion County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Marion County, South Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
