Press operator • Franklin County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Franklin County, Ohio. You will be based on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; record output and downtime on the production sheet; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed.
