On a typical shift you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot 4+ years on the tools preferred.
