Bricklayer — Houston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Houston County, Minnesota. You will be based at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
