Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Akure South, Ondo State. Day-to-day duties: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦225,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
