Precision welder — Tate County

Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Tate County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day to day you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
