Rebar worker — Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
