Lathe programmer-operator • Madison County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Madison County, Illinois. You will work in a tool room. Your main tasks: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
