You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card On a typical shift you will present documents at weighbridges and check posts; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards.
