Automotive refinish painter — Jones County

Join our team: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Jones County, Texas. You will work in a car refinishing workshop. The role involves: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
