Steel erection rigger — McCormick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in McCormick County, South Carolina. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
