Formwork carpenter — Charlevoix County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Charlevoix County, Michigan. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to read formwork and structural drawings You will assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
