We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Montgomery County, Illinois. The job is at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Day to day you will sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape. We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
