Scullery hand — Calhoun County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scullery hand in Calhoun County, Texas. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. The role involves top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies. Ideal candidate: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
