Vacancy available: rigging foreman (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Orkney Islands, Scotland. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller 1+ years on the tools preferred.
